CEO, Thurrock Lifestyle Solutions
Neil Woodbridge has been a Social entrepreneur for many years. Securing SEIF funding in 2007 he supported a group of disabled people to set up their own Community Interest Company in order to take control of their lives. Trading seriously since 2012 they now support over 200 people to live the lifestyle of their choice with a turnover of £5M (as he says remember that turnover is vanity profit is sanity!!).
Through community connections, an understanding of leadership, the use of people as Lived Experience Experts – he has moved people away from passive recipients of care to active citizens in control. He loves nothing more than to see other social entrepreneurs succeed and can support them on their journey through motivation, innovation, collaboration and spotting principled opportunities.
